On Love #35

  1. I really wish Dostoevsky had put the word "pain" in there with sorrow, because pain and sorrow are two very different but necessary pieces. Oftentimes they say it hurts to love. It hurts to love when your friends and family are so far. And most importantly, on our conversations, it hurts to love when we don't necessarily feel the love back.

This made me think of a song, actually from a CD that our good friend in Illinois bought me, I can('t) wait forever.

    And now eyes are teary!

I also cut my finger today. It makes typing... interesting. But life, even with pain, is still good. Maybe it's because I love my finger, who knows.

  2. Yeah, I'm totally with you Josh. I have a hard time sometimes with the idea of "with love one can live even without happiness," but it largely feels very true.

Sometimes though, the idea of waiting forever is just a tad depressing - just too much. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Aw, I appreciate you taking the time to comment even with a cut finger (which I hope is healing/healed by now).
